Standing at the edge of the plateau, you’ll feel time stretch as the desert wind moves across stone that has watched thousands of years pass. You’ll explore the legendary Great Pyramid, then continue toward the eternal gaze of the Great Sphinx, where myth and history seem to overlap. At the Valley Temple, your guide will connect the rituals of the ancient world to the monuments surrounding you—quiet details that make the sites feel alive, not distant.

Later, you’ll pause for lunch at a local restaurant, enjoying Egyptian flavors in a relaxed setting before continuing to a Papyrus Institute, where you’ll see how traditional papyrus is made and why it mattered so much in ancient life. As evening settles, you return to your hotel with the kind of tiredness that only comes from a day well spent.

From there, you move to the Egyptian Museum, home to extraordinary treasures that make ancient Egypt feel vivid and real. Your Egyptologist helps you understand what you’re seeing—not just what it is, but why it mattered.

You’ll also visit a Perfumery Institute, where scents are blended like memories—soft lotus, warm amber, bright citrus—each bottle a small piece of Egypt to take with you. After lunch at a local restaurant, you return to your hotel for a comfortable evening, with Cairo’s energy still humming beyond the windows.

Your first visit is Philae Temple, beautifully set near the water and filled with elegant carvings that feel especially atmospheric in the southern light.

Afterward, you arrive at your Aswan hotel and check in. If you wish, you can add an optional Nubian Village visit (about 4 hours)—a colorful cultural experience that offers a gentler, human side of Upper Egypt. After the visit, you continue sailing toward Edfu. If you wish, you can join an optional visit to Edfu Temple—one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples, impressive not only in its size, but in the clarity of its detail. By evening, you sail onward toward Luxor, the city of temples and kings.

Day 7: Sunday, 1 August 2027 | Luxor West Bank & Luxor Temple

Today brings one of Egypt’s most powerful sightseeing days. You begin with the royal landscape of Luxor’s West Bank—starting in the Valley of the Kings, where tombs cut into the mountains preserve stories of the afterlife in vivid color and symbolism. Next, you stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two silent giants guarding the plain, then continue to the graceful terraces of Hatshepsut Temple, a masterpiece of design and ambition.

You’ll also visit an Alabaster Institute, where artisans transform stone into glowing pieces that catch the light like honey. Later, you explore Luxor Temple, especially captivating as your Egyptologist reveals how it once connected to Karnak through ceremonial pathways and festivals. You return to the cruise feeling like you’ve walked through chapters of history rather than a checklist of sites.

Overnight: Cruise

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 8: Monday, 2 August 2027 | Optional Balloon, Karnak & Solar Eclipse Day + Hurghada

If you choose, the day begins with an optional Hot Air Balloon Excursion—floating over Luxor at sunrise as temples, farms, and the Nile glow beneath you. Afterward, you check out of the cruise and head to Karnak Temple (if the site is not accessible, we will move it after the Solar Eclipse). Walking between towering columns feels like entering a stone forest built for the gods.

Then the atmosphere changes: Solar Eclipse Day arrives at 10:22:09, with a total duration of 2 hours, 45 minutes, 55 seconds. As the light begins to shift, the world looks different—sharper shadows, quieter air, a strange hush that makes everyone speak more softly. When the eclipse deepens, it feels unreal—like the sun is dimming on purpose, above one of the greatest ancient settings on Earth.

After the eclipse experience, you drive to Hurghada (approximately 4–5 hours). Upon arrival, you check in to your hotel and enjoy a free evening—sea air, relaxed pace, and time to simply exhale after an extraordinary day.
